Easy Shells

This pretty lacy stitch is very easy, but it looks quite lovely. It’s perfect for beginner crocheters.

Abbreviations:

ch chain,
sk skip,
dc double crochet,
* * repeat instructions between asterisks as many times as there are stitches to accommodate them.

Multiple of 6 ch plus 4

Row 1: *sk 5 ch, (2 dc, ch 3, 2dc) all in next ch*; sk 3 ch, dc in last ch. Ch 3, turn.

Row 2: *(2 dc, ch 3, 2 dc) all in ch-3 space*; dc in top of turning ch. Ch 3, turn.

Repeat from Row 2.
